Every year we strive to improve the quality of our product. Our new olive harvesting system this year allowed us to harvest in a short time. We have also added filtration, so that our oil can preserve its original taste for longer.

New ideas are born
At the beginning of September 2021, we had the idea of intensifying our presence in a country, or perhaps better to say continent, as extraordinary and immense as Russia. Exporting the quality of the oil produced in our fields to such vast and complex territories is a truly stimulating challenge. An extraordinary city that discovers Italian quality
A few years ago, the thought that our oil could cross the borders of Europe seemed distant and unattainable. Almost jokingly, on a warm Sicilian summer evening, Tatiana and I decided to accept ICE's invitation to this fair, which really seemed like a dream, a vacation at Expo 2020, more than a real commercial opportunity. And yet... we managed to get there, despite a thousand mishaps related to canceled flights, covid tests, shipping samples, etc... our genuine and natural oil, as always, made the difference. Hundreds of visits to the stand, kilos and kilos of seasoned bread offered to the food lovers who, curious, deliberately tried to have a chat with us. Dozens of business meetings with clients from Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Abu Dhabi, but also India, Bahrain, Qatar, etc.... What can I say, thanks to the ICE office in Dubai and all the staff, and here are some photos of this spectacular event in the earthly paradise of Dubai.

Wonderful experience
The growth journey of our family-run farm continues. We have participated in a wonderful event these days. Paris hosts the European excellence of organic products in a single hub of ideas and products, where Italy stood out thanks to the large delegation of companies offering the very best of Italian agri-food. Pasta, coffee, condiments, wine, etc. etc... and... could our brand new freshly pressed extra virgin olive oil be missing here? Of course not, and here are some moments among the dozens of pieces of seasoned bread we offered to food lovers from all over the world who stopped by our stand :-) :-). The 2021/2022 oil we are producing these days is exceptional—the preview at the fair was a real success. Once again, thank you ICE

It is always wonderful to make our oil known around the world. This morning, 09/20/2021, one of our collaborators woke us up with some great news: samples of our oil have been delivered for the cooking classes and tasting sessions at the ICE stand of the most important Russian trade fair dedicated to Italian food excellence, which will begin tomorrow. Due to Covid restrictions, we were very sorry not to be able to attend in person—it would have been fantastic—but being the only company from the province of Trapani, and one of the very few Sicilian companies among about 50 Italian ones participating, is still wonderful. Russian market, we are waiting for you!!!!!

News starting from the 2020/2021 campaign
For years, our family dreamed of closing the supply chain by fulfilling a dream I had since I was a child: milling our own olives on the farm. Thanks to all of you who have been buying our oil for years, and to the support of all our collaborators and family members who believed in me and in the growth project of the farm, we have managed to create our first company olive mill. Here are the first images.

A special Saturday today, a Saturday, April 25th of this strange 2020 in the company of our bees and our wonderful olive trees in bloom. Virus or not, fortunately the biological cycle of nature goes on and we, with pleasant curiosity and diligent interest, simply observe and support it, day after day.
The tomatoes grow
A seedling of our pizzutello tomato, produced here on our company land, grows under the wonderful April sun. Slow and laborious work, all strictly done by hand and without water after the initial growth stages. Here in Sicily, we call this "siccagna" cultivation.

The new estate of c/da Ummari - Trapani
Starting a new traditional olive grove, with native Sicilian plants, is always an exciting, poetic, and tiring challenge for us. It takes years of infinite patience, on average 10, before we can obtain the much-hoped-for fruits of daily work in the countryside. Here is the first photo, taken during this wonderful and spring-like Sicilian February 2020. After a year in the nursery, the young plants have had 6 months of organic growth in the field.

Just like Giuseppe, 31 years old, with a degree in engineering, who, in order not to leave Sicily, has taken up his grandparents' teachings and today produces extra virgin olive oil in the Trapani area.
